Contemporary art prints comprise a small but important segment of the art world and are available at an approachable range, making them particularly suited to emerging and experienced collectors alike. Together, these exhibiting programs comprise a vibrant snapshot into the world of contemporary art and the works on view offer a window into the myriad ways that artists make prints today. Visitors will see a variety of types of prints, from traditional etchings, screenprints, woodcuts and lithographic processes to more experimental relief and mixed media approaches.
This collaboration, bringing together some of Chicago’s best known galleries with the Midwest's most ambitious publishers of prints, is a resonant expression of the collaborative nature of Chicago’s art community. IN / PRINT is an initiative of Process/Process and Volume Gallery.
IN / PRINT is free and open to the public.
